Not only will the new Nissan 400Z look better than its predecessor, but it will be substantially more powerful. Technical details haven’t been officially confirmed, but the 370Z’s 332-horsepower, 3.7-liter V6 will reportedly be replaced by an Infiniti-sourced 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 pumping out 400 hp.
When will the Nissan 400Z be unveiled? We don’t know yet, but Nissan has confirmed it will be one of 12 new models the Japanese automaker will launch within the next 18 months. However, a user on the Nissan 400Z forum who allegedly works for a supplier claims the Nissan 400Z will enter production in September 2021. The user doesn’t provide any proof to back up their claim so it’s probably best to take it with a pinch of salt for now, but it does support reports claiming the new Nissan 400Z will be unveiled within the next year.
