A few weeks ago, Hyundai revealed the first details about the updated 2021 Veloster N. It’s most interesting new feature is an optional eight-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox. The six-speed manual will remain standard. But there were also a few additional features Hyundai failed to announce.
Motor Trend recently spoke to the automaker’s director of product planning, Scott Margason, who revealed a previously unannounced new feature: lightweight sports seats. Not only will these help the car to shed a few pounds, but they’ll also provide occupants with additional bolstering as well as display a cool backlit “N” badge on the backrest, similar to what the BMW M3 has.
Unfortunately, Margason couldn’t reveal whether or not the new sports seats will also offer heating, but we suspect they will.
